Peace Bell Project Featured at Taiwan Medical Mission Flag Ceremony at TECO, New York

On August 12, 2025, the North America Taiwanese Medical Association (NATMA) held a flag presentation ceremony at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York, announcing the next volunteer medical mission to Ukraine. Doctors from multiple specialties will once again travel to provide urgently needed medical services to communities affected by war.

As part of the event, artist Lin Shih-Pao was invited to attend and presented a scale model of the Peace Bell. The organizers emphasized that this ceremony brought together support for Ukraine from different fields — medicine, culture, and community action — as a collective expression of solidarity.

During the event, the Peace Bell Project received support from several Ukrainian-American officials and community representatives, who recognized its symbolic power. They noted that a bell built with Taiwan’s compassion and Ukraine’s resilience would stand as a sign of unity and international cooperation, complementing the humanitarian work of the medical mission.

和平鐘計畫於紐約義診團授旗儀式亮相

2025 年 8 月 12 日，**北美洲台灣人醫師協會（NATMA）**在紐約台北經濟文化辦事處舉行 義診團授旗典禮，宣布新一批醫師志工即將再度前往烏克蘭，為當地戰火中的社區提供急需的醫療援助。

活動中特別邀請 畫家林世寶 出席，並帶來 和平鐘模型。主辦單位強調，這場典禮集結了來自不同領域的力量——醫療、文化與社群行動，共同為烏克蘭表達支持與關懷。

在儀式中，和平鐘計畫獲得多位烏克蘭裔官員與社群代表的支持。他們肯定這項跨國人道藝術行動，並指出由台灣善意與烏克蘭堅韌共同孕育的鐘聲，將成為國際團結的象徵，也與義診團的人道行動相互呼應。
